Actually, I can't think of any.
Or at least any that matter enough to me to stop me from temporarily losing all logic every time I'm sent pictures of gorgeous Welsh D's for sale. There are a lot of really nice prospects for sale at the moment!
This is Sasha, she's a 4 year old mare, 14.2hh, just started under saddle. And yes, she's for sale if anyone out there (besides me) can't resist a nice pony. She's from the same farm I bought Ginger from and having met her in person, I'd say if anything she seems larger than 14.2hh - she tends towards more of a leggy athletic build. Or maybe it's just that cob personality that's so larger than life making me remember her as taller!
Anyway, here you go, some pretty pony pics for the long weekend:
What are her bloodlines? You can't post a picture of a Cob without telling me the bloodlines!
ReplyDeleteI always forget that part, don't I? :) Here you go:

Just found your blog! :) Hi there!
ReplyDeleteI'm not a huge pony person, my Quarter is almost too short for my taste and he's 15.2, haha! But I've gotta admit...this mare is pretty adorable.
Hi! Thanks for reading :) The cobs I've ridden are a little deceptive - they have a BIG stride and take up a lot of leg. Ginger is 15.3 and rides like a much bigger horse, it's kind of crazy. I'm going to try a couple of the ponies from this breeder (including the one above) in a month or two, which is exciting, but for the sake of honesty I have to admit I worry they are too small/will move more like ponies than what I like. I can't say enough good things about Welsh D's, but I may go back to having a TB or WB type as a second horse if the right welsh doesn't come along. I've had a couple of wonderful quarter horses in the past as well.
